Lucy Fitzgerald set up Fitzgerald HR as a HR outsourcing company in 2008 when she made the decision to freelance as an HR consultant.
She began to build a client base, providing a service based on an understanding that small to mid-sized organisations without internal HR, as well as HR teams within larger companies needed flexible, hands-on, commercial HR solutions.
Today we are a full-service HR consultancy providing people management and development solutions to organisations throughout the UK and internationally. We partner with our clients to help them recruit, retain, develop and lead great people.
Job Type: Full-time hours, Maternity cover contract (8 months minimum)
Reporting to: Executive Director
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Location: Working from home with occasional attendance at events in London and at our regional locations across the South of England.
The Company:
The Association of Dental Implantology (ADI) is a membership organisation and charity. Our mission is to advance education in the field of dental implantology for the benefit of the public.
As a registered charity, ADI’s aim is to benefit the dental profession with continuing implant education, and the general public with a greater understanding of the benefits of dental implant treatment, without any commercial bias. We’re a tight-knit team of committed individuals who love what we do and who do it with a smile and a sense of humour.
The Role:
We are looking to recruit a Membership and Marketing Coordinator to join us on a contract for at least 8 months. The role will be primarily remote, home-based working, with occasional work in person at events and conferences, and will support the Events Manager and the Marketing Manager.
As Membership and Marketing Coordinator, you will manage all aspects of membership administration for ADI. You will take responsibility for processing new member applications, maintaining accurate and up-to-date membership records, and handling student and First Five Year memberships. This includes overseeing annual subscription renewals, managing direct debit and recurring card payments, and following up on outstanding subscriptions to ensure maximum renewal rates. You will also contact resigned or lapsed members to understand and report on non-renewal reasons. You’ll administer member benefits, ensuring invoicing accuracy and liaising with providers to maintain exclusive offers.
Alongside membership tasks, the successful role holder will plan and manage ADI’s social media accounts, creating content, scheduling posts, engaging with the online community, and providing performance reports. Supporting the Marketing Manager, you will coordinate marketing campaigns for events and membership activities, ensuring timely delivery of materials and effective reporting. Additionally, you will assist with the organisation and delivery of ADI events and trade show participation, offering pre-event and on-site support, whilst maintaining accurate records for all tasks.
The Person:
The ideal person will have proven previous experience within a similar administrative role. You will have the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively to manage the varied and fast-paced nature of the role. You will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to interact confidently and professionally with colleagues, members, non-members, and suppliers both in writing and over the phone. Providing outstanding customer service will come naturally to you.
The successful candidate will have strong IT skills, particularly in data entry and the use of Microsoft Word and Excel. You’ll be organised with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. We’re looking for an individual who is reliable and detail-orientated and who takes pride in producing high-quality work. You will enjoy working collaboratively as part of a small team.
It would be beneficial if you had experience in using CRM systems, accounting software, and/or direct debit systems. A background in membership organisations or events management would be desirable, but is not essential.
The Rewards:
In return, we are offering a competitive salary package of £30,000 per annum. We operate a flexible working policy in regard to days/hours worked and you will receive 25 days paid holiday plus bank holidays per annum (pro-rata).
ADI is a challenging and continuously changing environment and forward-thinking organisation. In addition to offering an attractive salary and working alongside a small but committed team, we support further personal growth and career development.
If you feel you have the skills, knowledge, and experience, and want to be part of an ambitious and growing organisation, please apply today.
Closing date for applications will be Friday 29thNovember.
No agencies please.
If this role interests you, we’d recommend applying as soon as possible. This role is usually very popular, and we may have to close the role early if we receive a high number of applications to ensure we can still offer the best candidate experience.
