County Insurance Services provide an extensive range of bespoke insurance policies for businesses and private clients. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader to join our independent and family run insurance brokers in our Household Schemes team. This role is a vital part in providing exceptional customer service and tailored insurance cover to our business clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Head of Personal Underwriting to ensure the smooth running of the staffing resources within the household schemes department
* Supervise, manage and motivate team members to create a client centric service offering within a positive working environment
* Inspire the team to achieve company goals and monitor & report on agreed service standards
* Ensure customer service standards remain high and continually look for ways to improve.
* Stay up-to-date on industry trends, policy changes, and regulations affecting business insurance
* Being the Line Manager to the household schemes department members and being a point of call for staffing issues
* Assisting with the planning of the schemes department member’s training plan and responsible for the delivery of the plan
* Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to ensure business strategies are fully aligned
Requirements:
* GCSE Grade C/4 and above, English & Maths
* To already hold Cert CII accreditation or complete it within 2 years of joining County (through a fully funded apprenticeship scheme)
* At least 2 years team leading experience, ideally in commercial insurance but potentially in personal lines
* Strong knowledge of insurance policies and procedures, as well as relevant rules and regulations
* Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
* Applicants should be highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
