Due to continued success, our Pricing team is looking to grow. Since its inception in 2019, the team has been instrumental in driving profitability and supporting the firm's ambitious growth, both in the UK and internationally. We are now seeking an experienced Pricing Manager to further strengthen our capabilities and lead on some of the firm's most significant pricing initiatives.
What You'll Do:
1. Independently lead pricing for the firm's largest panel responses and one-off mandates, collaborating with the commercial finance teams.
2. Drive the Pricing agenda alongside the Head of Pricing, offering commercial and practical advice to Partners and client relationship teams to enhance profitability.
3. Support the firm's pricing governance framework, advising on strategy and financial support for major appointments and opportunities.
4. Serve as the primary resource for pricing-related matters, promoting the use of our "BigHand Pricing Tool" and providing in-life pricing support.
5. Design and implement pricing training for Partners and associates, and proactively identify and manage client engagement opportunities.
6. Lead pricing-related projects to improve revenue, efficiency, and internal monitoring.
7. Stay informed about market changes and build a network to stay ahead of developments.
Who We're Looking For:
1. A professional with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a senior pricing role within a law firm or relevant professional services environment.
2. Confident stakeholder manager with a strong understanding of legal service pricing, alternative fee arrangements, and law firm profitability.
3. Excellent analytical skills for financial data modeling and reporting, coupled with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
4. A dynamic problem-solver with tenacity, resilience, and the flexibility to adapt to changing requirements.
5. Desirable: Leadership in applying technology to pricing activities, experience in managing large data sets, and designing training for senior stakeholders.
