The role of the MES Specialist is to manage and maintain the Ware site’s Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), including electronic batch records, to support business continuity and the company’s ‘Digital and Smart Manufacturing’ goals.
This role supports the site’s Oral and Solid Dose (OSD) manufacturing lines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and support the design, development, and qualification of MES Recipes.
* Act as SME on manufacturing processes within OSD for BAU, projects, and Smart Manufacturing initiatives. Serve as a point of contact for user support and technical issues, support root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and the introduction of new designs for lines/products.
* Oversee daily electronic batch management operations, assist in creating batch records for new products.
* Collaborate with quality teams to ensure compliant technology transfers, operations, and lifecycle management of GMP processes, including change management and continuous improvement.
* Align with manufacturing leadership to prioritize goals.
* Provide technical support for MES troubleshooting.
* Facilitate communication and decision-making.
* Work with QA to ensure GMP excellence.
* Plan and manage updates to electronic Batch Records following process changes.
* Support system upgrades and represent the area during regulatory inspections.
On-Standby Allowance: Flexibility outside normal work hours is required occasionally, with standby allowance provided.
