What You’ll Do
In this exciting role, you will:
* Design, implement, and maintain cutting-edge IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and virtualisation.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored technical solutions.
* Monitor and optimise system performance, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
* Implement security best practices, safeguarding systems and ensuring compliance.
* Drive innovation by evaluating and introducing new technologies.
* Provide expert technical support to end-users and colleagues.
* Contribute to infrastructure projects, delivering on time and to a high standard.
* Document configurations and processes for a seamless IT operation.
What We’re Looking For
We’re after someone proactive, passionate, and ready to make a difference. Ideally, you’ll have:
* A degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
* Experience in infrastructure engineering or a related role.
* Proficiency in system administration (Windows and/or Linux servers).
* Hands-on experience with virtualisation technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
* Solid understanding of networking concepts and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
* Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical skills.
What Sets You Apart
Essential Skills
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft infrastructure (Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365).
* Expertise in virtualisation (Hyper-V and VMware).
* Advanced endpoint management (Intune, MECM, Autopilot).
* Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, and VPNs).
* Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments.
* Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
* Familiarity with enterprise monitoring tools and cybersecurity frameworks.
* Experience with disaster recovery and high-availability solutions.
Desirable Skills
* Certifications like Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect or ITIL Foundation.
* Experience designing enterprise IT architectures and advanced networking solutions.
* Knowledge of IAM solutions like Azure AD Conditional Access or Okta.
