Are you a Psychology graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in a specialist neurological rehabilitation setting? Hunters Moor Neurological Rehabilitation Centre, part of Active Care Group, is seeking a dedicated Assistant Psychologist to join our therapy team.
As an Assistant Psychologist, you will support our Neuropsychology Team in providing specialist assessments and treatment programmes for patients with acquired brain injury and neurological conditions. Working under the supervision of a Lead Consultant Neuropsychologist, you will be involved in neuropsychological assessments, behavioural observations, individual and group interventions, and collaborative work with the interdisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.

What you'll be working:
The role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
What you'll be doing:
* Assist in the delivery of neuropsychological assessments and treatment programmes.
* Support patient history-taking and family interviews.
* Conduct behavioural monitoring, data gathering, and analysis.
* Assist in group therapy sessions and 1:1 psychological interventions.
* Develop and modify therapy resources under supervision.
* Participate in team meetings and contribute to service development, audits, and research projects.
* Maintain high standards of record-keeping in line with BPS guidelines.
* Work collaboratively with patients, families, and professionals to develop patient-centred goals.
* Keep people safe from any harm and protect their human rights.

What you'll have:
* A 2:1 or higher in a BPS accredited Psychology degree and eligibility for graduate membership of the British Psychological Society is essential
* Previous experience with acquired brain injury or neurological conditions would be advantageous
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team would be beneficial
* Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
