The role of Purchase Ledger Clerk:
* Manage purchase ledger activities, including processing invoices and payments.
* Ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of financial data.
* Prepare monthly reports related to purchase ledger.
* Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts.
* Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to improve financial processes.
* Respond to supplier queries in a timely and professional manner.
* Maintain confidentiality and adhere to financial policies and procedures.
* Contribute positively to the team and the wider organisation.
The ideal Purchase Ledger Clerk:
* Prior experience in a similar role is essential.
* Any public or not for profit sector experience will be an advantage but not essential.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
* A strong understanding of financial regulations and procedures.
* Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
