UK SAR S92SAR Commander Stornoway Search and Rescue Base
We invite applications for the position of UK SAR S92 Commander based at the Stornoway SAR Base.
The successful applicant must meet the Command requirements stipulated in CAP999.
Ideally, applicants must hold a S92 Type Rating.
Applicants must have completed a recognized SAR Command course.
Must have three years of previous SAR command experience (either Military or Civilian) and a minimum of 500 hours SAR flying experience.
Significant NVD and mountain experience would be beneficial.
Stornoway operates a 13 / 11 roster and there is no requirement to live on the Island in periods of downtime.
