Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Financial Planning: Develop financial strategies that align with corporate goals and service delivery plans.
* Medium-Term Financial Planning: Lead the coordination of Medium-Term Financial Plan, Revenue Budget, and Capital Programme.
* Capital Strategy & Treasury Management: Oversee capital budgets, funding, and borrowing strategies while driving the development of Treasury Strategy.
* Final Accounts Management: Ensure the smooth and timely production of the final accounts.
* Budget Oversight: Provide financial management and budgetary support to Directors, ensuring robust financial governance.
* Audit Leadership: Manage internal audit processes and be the key point of contact for external auditors.
* Change & Development Projects: Offer financial expertise to support major organisational change, efficiency programmes, and capital development projects.

Minimum Requirements:
* Qualified Accountant
* Local Government experience
* Ability to manage stakeholder relationships at strategic and operational levels
* Strong financial planning background
* Ability to produce final accounts
