Senior Finance Manager
Location: This role will support both East Kilbride and Morpeth. The successful candidate will be mainly based at the East Kilbride site, with Morpeth visits roughly 1-2 days per month.

What you become part of:
Reporting into the Supply Chain Manufacturing Finance lead, the role will provide support and operational business partnering for Great Britain Business Unit Manufacturing operations teams at our East Kilbride and Morpeth production sites. Key responsibilities include providing analysis, insights, and finance support during daily operations, key project planning, implementation, leading the local annual business planning, forecasting, and long-range planning cycles. Based in East Kilbride, the role will be part of site leadership teams with a dotted reporting line into the East Kilbride & Morpeth Operations Director.
What to expect:
* Accountable for £31m of Manufacturing SC Opex (c15% of GB), £69m of ingredients, and £38m of packaging spend. The combined production output of East Kilbride and Morpeth is 36m UC (c7% of GB).
* Business partnering with the two site Manufacturing operations teams, delivering support and insight to enable better decision making.
* Exceptional time management and prioritization skills, along with advanced PC skills, are required to meet the demands of the role.
* Summarizing and communicating financial information clearly for stakeholders.
* Leading the local Annual Business Planning process, monthly forecasting, working capital, and closing reviews to reflect financial risks, opportunities, and projects.
* Developing a thorough understanding of Manufacturing operations to provide strategic insights and develop long and short-term plans.
* Identifying financial risks and supporting action planning to mitigate them.
* Monitoring financial metrics, trend analysis, and performance indicators to identify improvement opportunities.
* Delivering updates, implementing, and tracking efficiency and other improvement projects, including business case preparation and evaluation of local project proposals in collaboration with European group teams.
* Monitoring and guiding the Centre of Excellence (CoE) in financial reporting, including benchmarking, and providing tailored reports to stakeholders.
* Tracking and reporting on the impact of spends and projects, highlighting corrective actions as needed.
* Sharing best practices across Supply Chain Finance and wider BU Finance teams.
* Ensuring transactions, policies, systems, and procedures meet organizational and regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a relevant field.
* Qualified accountant or equivalent.
* Knowledge of supply chain finance and experience in strategic initiatives for growth and cost efficiency.
* Experience with outsourced functions.
* Efficiency and adaptability under tight deadlines.
* Advanced IT skills (Excel VBA is an advantage).
* Finance systems knowledge.
* Problem-solving and lateral thinking abilities.
* Self-starter with a positive attitude.
* Ability to influence collaboratively.
* Entrepreneurial mindset and change facilitation skills.
* Leadership and coaching experience.
