Overview
We are seeking a Personal Assistant to the Director to join our team in supporting the efficient operation of our organisation. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting the Director with administrative tasks and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Experience in housekeeping/cleaning would be preferable.
Duties
1. Provide administrative support to the Director, including managing calendars and appointments.
2. Conduct data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
3. Handle phone calls and correspondence with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette.
4. Organise and maintain physical and digital files.
5. Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and documents using Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
6. Perform clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and filing documents.
7. Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.
8. Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks.
9. Coordinate meetings, events, and travel arrangements as required.
10. Housekeeping/cleaning when required.
Requirements
1. Proven experience in an administrative or personal assistant role.
2. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively.
3. Proficiency in data entry, Google Suite, Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and other relevant software applications.
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional phone etiquette.
5. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while being a team player when needed.
6. Experience in housekeeping/cleaning.
Pay: £9.50-£12.50 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
Schedule:
* Monday to Friday
* Weekend availability
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Ferryhill
