The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our hotel team as a reception manager. As the first point of contact for guests, the reception manager plays a vital role in ensuring a positive guest experience from the moment they arrive.
Responsibilities
1. Manage the daily operations of the reception desk, ensuring that all staff are providing excellent customer service to guests.
2. Monitor and ensure the achievement of key performance indicators, such as guest satisfaction and revenue targets.
3. Train, coach, and motivate reception staff to deliver exceptional guest service and handle any guest complaints or issues.
4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with guests and other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
5. Oversee the reservations system and ensure that guest bookings are accurate and efficiently managed.
6. Work with other departments to ensure that all guest requests and needs are fulfilled in a timely and efficient manner.
7. Manage the reception budget, including labor costs and other expenses.

Ideal Candidate
1. At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within a hotel environment.
2. Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
3. Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with guests and colleagues.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
5. Experience with hotel management systems, such as PMS and reservation systems.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on achieving targets and driving revenue.
7. A positive attitude and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
