This is an exciting time to join Arun District Council as we embark on a new chapter in the management of our homes and neighbourhoods. Having recently restructured our Housing Service, we are now keen to implement a range of service improvements and are looking for someone who can deliver the vision of our permanent post-holder while supporting staff and projects to deliver excellence.
As the Head of Business Improvement and Tenancy Services, you will lead an integrated, high-quality, and proactive team dedicated to delivering comprehensive and innovative business solutions across the Housing and Communities Service. The role focuses on enhancing customer experience while ensuring value for money. The postholder will oversee and lead on key strategic projects that improve services for our residents as we bring together our business improvement and tenancy services functions to deliver a cohesive and collaborative team, focused on the needs of our tenants.
The postholder will champion continuous improvement, facilitate change, and ensure compliance with the Council's policies and regulatory requirements.
We’re looking for a housing professional with demonstrable strategic leadership skills and the ability to support service modernisation and performance excellence by fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement, ultimately enhancing services provided to residents. They will manage key business improvement transformation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. They will also ensure a high performing tenancy services team.
