An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our operational management team within the Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) as a Service Manager and Accreditation Lead for 12 months across Clacton and Ipswich.
This role is ideal for a dynamic individual looking to expand their knowledge and leadership experience within the NHS.
As a Service Manager you will support the day to day operational service delivery, supporting the Operational Lead of the CDC. The CDC offers a wide range of services to help diagnose and treat patients, including MRI, CT, US, X-ray, Endoscopy, Bloods and Cardio-Respiratory. Part of this role will involve you leading on gaining and maintaining accreditation for the services at the CDC. You will need to inspire and engage the team around you to drive the accreditation processes. You will work closely with the leads of each service to develop, implement and monitor action plans to achieve accreditation for each area. You will also be required to monitor the activity performance of each modality and proactively identify any challenges and work with the leads on how these may be mitigated.
Internal applicants currently employed by ESNEFT will be offered on a secondment basis only. This will need to be discussed with your current line manager.
Working with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals to deliver our service, you will be able to develop your operational and management skills in a supportive and innovative atmosphere. This role plays a major role in the continuing development of service delivery for the benefit of our patients where care and compassion are central to everything we do.
As a Service Manager you will be part of the Clinical Delivery Group leadership team that supports the achievement of the financial performance and operational objectives ensuring workforce, accommodation and equipment resources are optimized.
In conjunction with the, Operational Lead Community Diagnostic Centre, Assistant General Manager Medical Imaging and General Manager, you will provide operational management support to the service. Alongside the operations team you will manage all aspects of operational delivery to agreed quality standards and within the resource and income base available, to support the Trust's development as a clinically led organisation
