Cover Supervisor

Contract: Full-time, Term Time Only

We are currently seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join a supportive and inclusive secondary school in Crewe. This role will involve delivering pre-planned lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, ensuring continuity in learning and fostering a positive classroom environment.
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects for KS3 and KS4 students.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting both academic progress and emotional wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and support staff to provide tailored support to students.
- Encourage positive behaviour and ensure school policies are upheld.
- Engage with parents and carers by providing relevant feedback on student progress.
- Contribute to the school's ethos of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Passionate about supporting young people and helping them reach their full potential.
- Adaptable and reliable, able to confidently step into lessons across different subjects.
- Experienced in working within an educational setting (previous classroom or youth work experience is desirable).
- Proactive, creative, and enthusiastic in their approach to student engagement.
- Skilled in behaviour management and able to maintain a calm, structured learning environment.
