Role: SEN Teacher
Location: East Heckington, Boston, Sleaford, UK
Salary: £27,456 - £43,014 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver engaging and adaptive lessons in Maths, English, and Science for students with diverse educational needs.
2. Provide small group and one-to-one teaching, fostering confidence, independence, and positive learning outcomes.
3. Work closely with parents, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualised learning plans.
4. Implement effective behaviour management strategies and interventions to support student progress.
5. Engage in outdoor learning and adventure activities where applicable.
Requirements
1. Minimum two years' experience in a SEND setting (five years post-QTS experience preferred).
2. Experience teaching Primary or Secondary with a strong understanding of SEND.
3. QTS/QTLS (preferred but not essential).
4. SENCO qualification or willingness to work towards one.
5. A passion for inclusive education and supporting students with additional needs.
