MUNTERS Data Centre Technologies, a fast-growing world leader in manufacturing data centre cooling equipment, is seeking a highly skilled, organised, and detail-oriented HVAC Service Engineer to join our team in Dublin to carry out service and maintenance of mission-critical cooling systems in Ireland.
Reporting to the Service Manager, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record in servicing and maintaining HVAC equipment, particularly in the data centre sector.
In your role as Service Engineer,
Your main job duties will include:
1. Undertake accurate, timely, and high-quality service, maintenance, and commissioning of HVAC equipment and systems for our customers in accordance with company vision, standards, and health and safety policy.
2. Attend sites as scheduled and directed by the Service Controller and Service Manager.
3. Participate in the 24/7 on-call rota to cover after-hours emergency calls from customers and respond within the specified KPIs.
4. Carry out planned preventative maintenance on customer equipment to Munters' own or third-party exacting specifications.
5. Carry out fault finding on equipment and accurately determine faults, faulty components, and the root cause of failure.
6. Carry out repairs to factory standard.
7. Carry out quoted works within scope and budget.
8. Work responsibly and diligently within a mission-critical work environment.
9. Comply fully with all industry regulations and legislation, including but not limited to Health & Safety and F-Gas.
10. Comply fully with RAMS for all works at all times.
11. Provide accurate and detailed service and maintenance reports within set KPIs using the company service management software.
12. Seek out maintenance and service opportunities from new and existing customers.
13. Assist team members outside your normal geographic region when project and service workloads dictate.
14. Work under own initiative where required.
15. Provide intelligence and feedback to the QAQC department to facilitate continual product improvement.
16. Work closely with other key stakeholders in the business to provide feedback from the field as required.
17. At all times comply with statutory, company, and customer health and safety requirements and site working instructions.
18. At all times comply with company and customer security requirements and instructions.
19. Where there is a requirement in the business, your skills may be employed by other teams in such duties as project engineering, engineering support through the sales process, and product technical support.
In addition, you may also be expected to carry out any additional duties that may be assigned to you by your manager from time to time.
Qualifications & Experience:
1. A formal qualification in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, HVAC, and/or Mechanical/Building Services.
2. A minimum of four years working in a similar role.
3. An excellent working knowledge of HVAC and Refrigeration/DX Systems including controls.
4. F-Gas Certification.
5. Experience working on Air handling, CRAC/CRAH Split & VRF Systems.
6. Experience working on adiabatic cooling and chillers desirable but not essential.
7. Fluent in English (Reading, Speaking, and Writing).
