GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Under the general direction of the Corporate Strategy Advisor or designee, the Project Director provides leadership and guidance for professional staff in assigned programs and ensures compliance with standards. The Project Director will troubleshoot operational issues as they arise and be responsible for budgetary oversight.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Direct Continuous Quality Management (CQI) activities for compliance of assigned programs
* Direct and manage professional staff and supervisors
* Manage the day-to-day operations of the professional services programs
* Monitor and review the programs to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
* Prepare and present budget reports to senior level managers at specified intervals
* Prepare performance evaluations and participate in hiring and termination activities of staff members
* Develop management and fiscal reporting for assigned programs
* Develop program activity reports and reporting structures for each program
* Participate in agency meetings regularly, to assess compliance and program development
* Serve as a liaison to state agency managers, organization managers, professional staff, and consultants
* Participate in the development and oversight of assigned programs
* Perform other duties as required
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Master’s Degree in Health Care, Health Services, or equivalent experience
* 8 years professional experience in Long Term Care, Community Health Care, or the Public Sector
* Previous experience working with state agencies (DMA, DPH, DMR, DMH, etc.) to develop and implement Programs strongly preferred
* Ability to travel to off-site locations
