Our client, based in Banbury, is a highly successful, international supplier of capital equipment and due to growth, is currently looking for a Project Manager to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. The main responsibilities of this position are to lead and supervise project teams across several departments and ensure that project targets are met.
The ideal candidate must hold a qualification or degree in mechanical engineering and have a strong Project Management background. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company that could provide the prospect for progression in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all required project documentation, following the Project Management Process, including commissioning and training materials.
2. Organise and chair key project meetings, such as handovers and client discussions.
3. Develop and maintain delivery schedules that ensure efficient and timely installations.
4. Collaborate closely with the Lead Designer to guide the design process, ensuring both quality and cost-effectiveness.
5. Actively oversee Health & Safety practices related to project activities, ensuring compliance and safety.
6. Engage with customers throughout the installation phase to streamline the process and manage expectations effectively.
7. Complete as-fitted drawings in accordance with company policies within three months post-installation.
8. Manage the commercial aspects of projects, including scope management, negotiating variation orders, and controlling costs within budget limits.
9. Assist the sales team by providing resources for detailed project planning, including timelines and Gantt chart creation.
Key Skills & Experience:
1. Proven experience in Project Management within a similar industrial machinery sector.
2. Holds a qualification or degree in general engineering, design engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
3. Strong experience in leading teams and managing resources effectively.
4. Proficient in using 2D and 3D CAD software.
5. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
6. Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
7. A valid driver’s license and passport are required.

1. Working Hours: 40 per week, 8:30-17:00 (60 min lunch break), flexible start and finish times.
