Salary: £36,000 per annum
Retail Manager for one of our prime locations in Edinburgh! Busy university operation. Great team, superb venue and generally Monday to Friday working week!

Job Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the client to establish clear financial targets aligned with the budget.
* Develop a comprehensive understanding of the financial goals and work towards achieving them.
* Continuously monitor performance metrics, such as revenue, sales conversion rates, and average transaction value, to ensure targets are being met or exceeded.
* Monitor the work of all staff members and provide regular feedback and coaching.
* Conduct appraisals to assess performance, identify training needs, and recognise employee potential.
* Address any skill gaps through appropriate training initiatives.
* Hold regular team meetings to communicate targets, standards, and relevant company and client information.
* Develop and evolve the restaurant and retail spaces based on customer feedback and market trends.
* Regularly assess the customer experience and recommend and implement adjustments and improvements.
* Stay updated with the latest retail and restaurant industry practices, innovations, and technologies to enhance the overall experience.
* Ensure the implementation and enforcement of rigorous health and safety protocols in the front of house areas.
* Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and address them promptly.
Qualifications:
* Able to demonstrate your analytical approach to problem solving
* A real passion for food and customer service
* You thrive on getting the best out of people and maximising commercial opportunities
* You draw satisfaction from managing, training and supporting a team
* Detail-oriented and high level of accuracy
* Have experience in a Restaurant Manager role ideally in contract catering, High street or Hotel
* Good understanding of report writing and financial management.
* Possess excellent supervisory and communication skills
* Good delegation and influencing skills
* Willingness to learn and progress
