Job overview
This is an interesting and varied position for a dynamic and self-motivated individual.
You will be responsible for managing and distributing orders for Theatres and other ITAPS departments, organising storage facilities, liaising with suppliers and UHL procurement, maintaining a database and ensuring supplies are delivered safely and in good condition to the correct theatre. You will need to be able to work on your own and as part of a team. Sound like a challenge you're up for?

Main duties of the job
* Collecting and Delivering of used and clean equipment from and to Theatres, Wards, Departments on any site.
* To participate in the departments training programme, to assist and maintain skills.
* Be visible within the theatre complex at all times and take responsibility for all stores rooms within ITAP.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Be visible within the theatre complex at all times and take responsibility for all REDs stores rooms within ITAPS.
On a daily basis collate, receipt and put away all orders for Theatres & other ITAPS departments. This can be through Ingenica, CEDAR & online logistics.
Liaise with UHL Procurement and companies re: Prices, carriage and delivery.

Qualifications
* Knowledge of instruments across a range of surgical specialties.
Skills and experience
* Experience ordering and receiving goods.
* 12 months clerical experience.
* CEDAR/ABS or electronic ordering.

Disclosure and Barring Service Check
Please note if you are successful in obtaining this position and the post involves regulated activity you will be required to undertake a Disclosure & Barring Service check.
The Trust will pay for the check initially and the money will then be deducted from your salary over a three month period commencing on your first month's payment.
The current price of a check is £38 for an enhanced and £18 for a standard check.
