Job summary Tunbridge Wells Theatres are looking for a dynamic, innovative and highly motivated individual to work within ourTheatre Department as a Band 3 Senior Theatre Support Worker The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years theatre experience and will have the knowledge and skills to provide care and assistance throughout the patients' perioperative journey. You will be an important part of the multi-disciplinary team, bringing patients to theatres, checking documentation, and applying monitoring in the anaesthetic room. Inside theatre you will assist the scrub team, clean after each surgery, and ensure that the stock is kept topped-up. There will also be portering duties, taking patients on beds and trolleys to and from the wards. As a senior, you will be allocated an area of responsibility, and will be heavily involved with training new staff. Main duties of the job You must possess good communication skills and be highly motivated. Your rota will include day shifts, long days, weekends and nights.
