What you will be doing:
As a graduate engineer you would be expected to be involved in a number of areas in order to develop a broad understanding of the Through-Life Support Engineering function. Working in a fast growing discipline, applying systems and supportability engineering principles to the development of concepts and designs for customer service operations.
Gain experience across a number of vital defence programmes providing next-generation capability for the Royal Air Force and Royal Navy. We are also fully committed to supporting graduates to work towards professional registration and Chartership with a range of professional institutes (e.g. the IET and IMechE).
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Engagement with customers, and understanding their needs and translating these into support solution requirements.
* Reliability Analysis – interrogate and analyse design and supplier data including virtual and digital model based environments.
* Maintainability – utilising design and customer support and service data to identify maintenance optimisations.
* Technical Documentation – research, originate and edit technical information and supporting data.
* Mission Support – Improvement and delivery of state-of-the-art mission planning and support services.
* Product Support – Support air and ground crew with understanding the operational and maintenance needs of their aircraft.
Skills:
As a minimum requirement you’ll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or STEM.
