Our client is looking to appoint a Legal Secretary to be based in their office in Inverness. This is a full time, permanent role and the purpose is to provide typing and secretarial support to the Solicitors as well as additional ad hoc support. Previous legal sector experience is preferred but applications are also welcome from those with experience of other sectors, keen to secure a Legal Secretarial career.
Duties include:
1. Copy and audio typing a range of correspondence and documentation containing legal terminology.
2. Assisting with the settlement of transactions.
3. Drafting documents.
4. Submit documents for registration.
5. Dealing with general client enquiries, face-to-face, via the telephone, or electronically.
6. Advise new clients on procedure and requirements.
