Procurement Agent Company: Boeing Defence United Kingdom Limited Role Overview: This role will be responsible for the acquisition of goods and services supporting fixed wing military derivative programmes, bringing the programme from conception to execution to operate across commercial, military and global boundaries, along with completing existing programme obligations. Responsibilities: Boeing is seeking an expert procurement professional with procurement life-cycle experience to join the team as a Procurement Agent who will be able to: Negotiate pricing and contract terms and conditions for products and services. Engage stakeholders to ensure that program, customer, product and in-service strategies are integrated into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies. Prepare and execute proprietary information agreements Prepare and execute negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements. Optimise execution of the supply chain balancing inventory, supply orders and schedule demand. Perform continuous review and analysis of demand and supply. Manage supplier/subcontractor performance and relationship to ensure delivery, quality, financial stability and in-service performance. Mitigate risks and issues. Initiate supplier improvement activities and provide results for integration into contracting strategies. Communicate performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance. Preferred Skills and Experience: Experience working within a Procurement or Supply Chain role within the Aerospace/Defence industry Experience working within an Engineering/Production environment Experience of using SAP Experience supporting contract terms and conditions development, negotiations and raising contracts Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Experience supporting cross-functional teams Excellent communication skills and customer focus are critical to be successful in this role.
