Organised and good at planning? Experience of working with students aged 16 – 18?
We are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter to run our boarding provision. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of the boarding accommodation, which is located near to our main site at the Hele Road campus, and our host family provision.
We provide mixed accommodation for students who are mainly on our Exeter Chiefs Rugby Academy programme and are here from Sunday evening to Friday lunchtime each week during term time. Your hours of work will be between 9am – 5pm however there might be occasions where you’ll need to support out of hours.
You’ll need to be great at:
* Creating a brilliant environment of fun, support and high expectations.
* Communicating in a professional manner with students, parents and college staff.
* Using your initiative.
* Planning and organising.
What you’ll be doing:
* Work with the College’s curriculum areas and support departments to ensure the highest standards of care and support for students.
* Responsible for the supervision of students living in the boarding house and those staying with host families.
* Working at the boarding accommodation to ensure all residential students are supported during their programme.
* Managing staff rotas and the accommodation budget.
* Ensure compliance with the OFSTED National Minimum Standards and the Social Care Common Inspection Framework for all residential provision.
