RESPONSIBILTIES
* MANAGE ALL COSTS RELATING TO THE PROJECT, FROM THE INITIAL CALCULATIONS TO THE FINAL FIGURES AND SEEK RO MINIMIZE THE COST OF A PROJECT AND ENHANCE VALUE FOR MONEY, WHIKE STILL ACHIEVING THE REQUIRED STANDARDS AND QAULITY.
* WHEN THE PROJECT IS IN PROGRESS, HE/SHE KEEPS TRACK OF ANY VARIATIONS TO THE CONTRACT THAT MAY AFFECT COSTS AND PROFITABILITY
* PROVIDE ADVICE ON CONTRACTUAL CLAIMS
* IDENTIFYING, ANALYSING AND DEVELOPING RESPONSES TO COMMERCIAL RISKS
* DEALING EFFECTIVELY WITH POST CONTRACT COST VARIANCES AND THE CHANGE CONTROL PROCESSES
* CARRY OUT FULL CONTRUCTIONTAKE OFF, PREPARE CONSTRUCTION COST PLAN, TRACK COSTS AND LABOUR EFFICIENCY THROUGHOUT THE PROJECT
* PREPARE AND NEGOTIATE SUNBCONTRACTOR AMD SUPPLIER CONTRACTS AND MANAGE THROUGH TO FINAL ACCOUNT
* PREPARE TIMELY AND ACCURATE ASSESMENTS/PAYMENT CERTS/PAYLESS NOTICES FOR SUBCONTRACTORS EACH MONTH
* PREPARE AND SUBMIT VALUATIONS AND FINAL ACCOUNTS
QAULIFICATIONS
* BACHELORS DEGREE IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING OR QUANTITY SURVEYING
* MINIMUM 5 YEARS OF QUANTITY SURVEYING IN MEP PROJECTS
* EXPERIENCE IN NEC CONTRACTS NAD INDUSTRY STANDARDS
* COMMERCIAL KNOWLEDGE
* EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION, NEGOTIATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
* PREFARABLE TO HAVE FACTORY OR INDUSTRIAL PLANT EXPERIENCE
