Credit Controller Colchester - Hybrid 2 days WFH £30,000 - £32,000 This is a newly created role to a restructure of the Finance department. You will report to the Financial Accounting Controller and be part of a Credit team of 6. Managing a ledger of 700 accounts totally £1.6 million monthly Chasing outstanding debts by telephone, email, letter and portals Investigating and resolving invoice queries to ensure aged debtors are kept to a minimum Liaising with residents, relatives, social services, local authorities and solicitors Setting you new accounts to ensure correct details input and billing lines are set up correctly Ensuring Direct Debits are set up for customers payments where appropriate Cash allocation Reconciling accounts and requesting credit notes when needed Monthly ledger reviews with the manager to review problem accounts Requirements Minimum of 2-3 years experience within Credit Control Excellent communications skills A strong work ethic and a desire to do well Good excel skills If you are interested in this vacancy please contact Sarah Chandler at CWC Recruitment Ltd.
