Job Summary
At Humber Health Partnership within Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (HUTH), we have created stimulating careers for excellent Radiographers like you. We have an opportunity for a flexible, enthusiastic, and motivated Radiographer to join our friendly team based at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
As a Radiographer, you'll join a remarkable team that's committed to great care, a fulfilling career, and working closely with patients and partners. The main X-ray departments are based across two sites: Hull Royal Infirmary in the city centre and Castle Hill Hospital situated on the outskirts, approximately 5 miles away.
Hull Royal is a major trauma centre and has recently undergone a major £8 million development of the emergency department. Castle Hill is the regional oncology and cardio-thoracic centre. We have four satellite X-ray departments in the community located in East Hull, Hornsea, Withernsea, and Beverley, with a Community Diagnostic Centre opening in the Centre of Hull early 2025.
The largest of these is East Riding Community Hospital located on the outskirts of Beverley. These departments provide plain film imaging for referrals from GPs, OPDs, community wards, and Minor Injuries Units. Minimum requirements are a BSc or DCR(R) in Diagnostic Radiography.
Professional Development reviews are undertaken using E-PDR.
Main Duties of the Job
You'll gain experience imaging a range of specialties such as ED, Neurosurgery, Oncology, and Orthopaedics based on rotation covering Fluoroscopy, General, Theatres, and Mobiles.
If we like each other (and why wouldn't we?), you'll join a dynamic, supportive, and forward-thinking team in a large teaching centre with first-class facilities. We're proud of our Radiographer Progression programme, which gets you from Band 5 to Band 6 following a 24-month development programme.
