Digital Campaigns/Supporter Engagement Co-ordinator

£24,000 - £26,000 FTE

Join our Community Fundraising Team and play a pivotal role in securing donations and support for Dougie Mac by developing strong relationships with existing and new supporters who enjoy to organise or undertake their own fundraising for Dougie Mac. You’ll also take on the exciting task of researching and working closely with our Marketing Team to implement compelling digital fundraising campaigns to generate donations for Dougie Mac.
Your communication, project planning and creative abilities will be essential to this role. Your skills will be vital in making sure we achieve our hospice income objectives.
No two days are ever the same, once one campaign or supporter fundraising activity is complete it’s onto the next and reap the reward knowing that your hard work is generating funds for a much loved hospice.
Some of what you’ll do:
Lead on Digital Fundraising Campaigns: Research, plan and lead on effective digital fundraising initiatives such as our Care For A Cuppa and STEPtember initiative. Ensure each campaign is promoted effectively to maximise the impact and donation outcomes.
Forge meaningful supporter relationships: You will also spend the majority of your time maintaining and exploring opportunities for new relationships with “high value” supporters who undertake their own fundraising for Dougie Mac. This will involve face-to-face, telephone and email interaction and a creative approach to engendering new support. Working closely with our Marketing Team, you will also create compelling communications and materials to show local people the impact they can make by supporting Dougie Mac.
Provide an excellent donor experience: Help to welcome supporters who visit or contact us to ask for help with their fundraising plans or to donate money. Showing compassion, enthusiasm and appreciation as well as keeping them well informed.

Salary: £24,000 - £26,000(FTE) Pro Rata/Actual: £14,400 - £15,600 depending on experience/qualifications.
Part Time 22.5 hrs across 3 days. Standard hours are Mon-Fri, 9am – 5pm.
