This role will help us to do this by providing housing management and support services to customers living in our buildings.
We'd like to hear from those that can ensure that the buildings are compliant with health & safety and that all repairs and planned works are carried out to an appropriate standard.
In this role, you shall
1. Provide support and guidance to a team of Services Coordinators on day-to-day scheme management issues, deputising for the Independent Living Manager.
2. Liaise with customers to provide monitoring and support in connection with their well-being and housing management needs.
3. Ensure that support reviews, risk assessments and general scheme records are kept fully up to date/reviewed regularly.
4. Manage customers' applications, support reviews, review service charges, liaise with colleagues on rent arrears, communicating effectively with customers and other agencies.
5. Ensure compliance with health and safety, fire safety and other statutory regulations.
6. Assist the Independent Living Manager where required with housing management and administration duties.
We need people who
1. Can promote and maintain a positive "can do" attitude in all aspects of the post.
2. Has knowledge of support needs and housing management requirements of older people living in an Independent Living housing environment.
3. Are experienced working with older people, and people with complex needs.
4. Are flexible in their approach to working hours.
5. Has the ability to drive and have access to a car.

The ICL team
Our Independent & Community Living team pride themselves on delivering a fantastic service to our customers, providing accommodation-based services to adults and young people across Greater Manchester, and striving to make a real difference in people's lives!
Forging positive and supportive relationships with our customers is central to what we do, none more than in our Community & Independent Living team, where we provide supported housing and independent living schemes for customers of all ages and with a variety of support needs.
As well as working to support our customers, our team also makes sure the services we run are great places to live and really call 'home'. Safety is always a priority, and our teams take a proactive role in making sure homes are always safe, secure and well managed.

* We provide over 300 places for people with additional support needs to live well.
* We have homes and services in eight local authorities across Greater Manchester.
* We provide nearly 500 homes across 12 schemes for older people in our Independent Living service.
* We work with over 20 different partners to provide specialist support services in our communities.
