As part of their ambitious strategy to scale, we are seeking an experienced Key Account Executive to drive growth with leading Tier 1 Retailers in the North Region of the UK.
As a Key Account Executive within the Sales team, your primary goal will be to cultivate and sustain strong client relationships by understanding their priorities and proactively addressing their needs.
Responsibilities:
* Actively prospect a portfolio of clients
* Follow up and develop a portfolio of customers by selling new solutions and services
* Organise answers to tenders and write commercial proposals in close collaboration with internals departments
* Develop relationships with integrator/vendor partners
* Ensure sales profitability and achieve sales targets
* Develop good relationships within the retail industry, at the highest level
* Participate in client events or trade shows
* Assist marketing in the development of business cases or communications / customer stories
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business or related discipline
* Experience in a similar position selling complex hardware and software solutions
* Proven track record in attaining/exceeding account management and sales goals
* Knowledge of the retail industry is an asset
* Ability to understand clients needs and add value
* High level of personal drive and proactive work methods
* Good negotiation skills
* Ability to prioritise strategic tasks
