We are excited to be able to advertise for a Part time Receptionist to support Dane Garth, Barrow-in-Furness.
The role will involve contact on a daily basis with a wide range of people – both internal and external to the organisation and therefore requires a confident approach. The post holder will need to be a team player with very strong communication skills.
The post holder will provide reception cover for the mental health services, both face to face and by telephone and any other administrative duties. The post holder will be organised, professional, committed and will assist in providing a high standard, quality reception service with The Bay.
The post holder will work flexibly in response to the needs of the service providing cover as directed by their line manager to ensure continuity of service provision. The post holder will have knowledge of relevant customer service procedures applicable to this role. Problem solving is an integral part of the role.
We are looking for a highly motivated, pro-active individual who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, lots of initiative and is looking for their next challenge.
While this is a demanding and busy role, the successful candidate is required to be able to demonstrate the Trust values and standards of behaviour expected by the organisation and meet the responsibilities of the job description and person specification.
Working pattern (hours): Part time
Hours / sessions per week: 18.75 hours per week
• To communicate with staff, service users and visitors on potentially difficult, sensitive and complex issues. This will require a level of negotiating, empathy and reassurance skills
• To maintain a high standard and professional reception service within base and locality
• To maintain effective working relationships with staff at all levels, internal and external across the whole health economy
• Demonstrate duties of role to new and less experience staff
• Resolve day-to-day basic operational and administrative problems relating to reception and building governance with the support and guidance of the Deputy Admin Lead.

Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.
