We are looking for a Property Cleaner (30 hours per week, usually worked over 5 shifts) to join the team to help ensure that the short let rooms and Airbnb properties that we manage look great all the time Please note that, while non-drivers are welcome to apply, this role will ideally be a driving position where you would use your own vehicle (we offer mileage payments) or would have the option to drive our electric Renault Kangoo van to get around the properties for cleaning. Travel time between properties is paid, and the company also reimburses any paid parking near our properties. We provide full training, but some evidence of a similar cleaning or hands on, physical job would be preferred. Details of the Property Cleaning role: Hourly rate: £12.45 per hour (plus 45p mileage if you are a driver) - this rises to £12.95 per hour upon completion of a successful 12-week probation period. 30 hours per week (usually worked over approx. 5 shifts each week, on a rota basis to include weekends). Travel time between properties and parking expenses are also paid In this department, we can be quite flexible with contracted hours - if you are looking for fewer or more than the hours above, just let us know your preference when you apply We usually operate between 9am-5pm Monday to Sunday. Fixed working days may possibly be offered but most team members are required to work at least one weekend day regularly Company benefits, including 20%-50% off in our bars and restaurants Responsibilities: Cleaning properties as assigned on the rota Restocking kitchen and bathroom supplies (tea, coffee, shampoo etc) Reporting any property maintenance issues to the manager Checking for extra tasks required at the property that day and carrying them out Our ideal candidate: Works well independently and unsupervised Is flexible to the last minute changes that can happen in a hospitality role Will communicate well with the team Has great attention to detail Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not required Will have a driving license and either be happy to drive our small electric van or will have their own car/van that they are happy to use for work.
