About The Cromwell Hospital The Cromwell Hospital is a major private hospital in West London providing outpatient and Inpatient service. The hospital has 180beds and 4 suites, 6 theatres, medical and surgical wards, CDU, level 2 and 3 full intensive care facilities, paediatrics, diagnostics, physiotherapy, and a dedicated day surgery unit. The radiography services we provide at the Cromwell Hospital includes; Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT, MRI, CT, General/Xray, and Mammography. We also partner with Genesis Care who are onsite offering therapeutic services. The department is ISO 9001:2015 accredited, and we provide a range of nuclear medicine examinations for many types of cancers, heart disease, gastro, endocrine, and neuro disorders. How you’ll help us make health happen: As the deputy to the Superintendent, you’ll work towards preparing for the installation of our new scanner. This will include preparing all paperwork (SOP’s, clinical protocols, ect), ensuring safe and efficient services, assist in the growth of the department by supporting with the recruitment of new staff into the service as the business grows. You’ll have overall responsibility in the delivery of current and future services, providing specialist clinical expert knowledge and skills, leadership, auditing, preparing and participating in CQC inspections, operational and strategic business planning to both Nuclear Medicine and PET/ CT. You’ll perform all types of Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT procedures, showing flexibility of shared tasks to ensure that we provide the best quality Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT service in a pleasant environment for both staff and patients, ensuring that a high quality, cost-effective service is delivered. You’ll be an effective communicator with excellent organisation ensuring appropriate staffing levels and preparing rota on Health Roster. Attention to detail, able to work collaboratively with other modalities in radiography, and able to perform IV cannulation and administer radioactive injections and other license products confidently. It is essential that you have used PACs. You’ll be familiar with Siemaes and GE scanners with experience as a radiation protection supervisor, and also have work on paediatric cases. The service is open Monday to Friday 8am-6pm Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role: HCPC Registration (if Radiographer) Technologists Nuclear Medicine (if not radiographer) B.Sc. Hons in Diagnostic Radiography or Diploma of Radionuclide Imaging or equivalent. (essential) Substantial, post-graduate experience in a relevant post.
