Role: Accounts Assistant
Location: Castleford
Salary: £30,000/£40,000
Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Credit Controller/Accounts Assistant for established construction company based in Castleford.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
* Sort, verify, invoice, post and file both Purchase Orders (PO) and Non-PO related Invoices
* Reconcile of Accounts to ensure all Invoices have been captured, request copies where appropriate
* Reconcile Accounts Payable Balances against General Ledger
* Review queries with Internal and External parties
* Prepare payment runs to ensure Suppliers are paid as directed Line Manager
* Accurate and timely processing of all aspects of Purchase Ledger activities
* Contributing to and supporting the Month-End process
* Collaborate with colleagues across all areas of the business, building and maintaining good relationships
Skills
* Experience and knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Email communications
* Experience in xero Accounting
* Ability to learn and adopt to new systems and processes
* Ability to communicate at all levels both internally and externally
* Excellent written and spoken English language skills are essential
* Strong organisational skills
* Good team working skills
