Day to day duties:
* Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, including Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and critical path analyses, ensuring alignment with project objectives and resource constraints.
* Break down project deliverables into manageable tasks with defined durations, dependencies, and resource assignments.
* Utilize Primavera P6 for accurate and up-to-date scheduling.
* Perform schedule impact assessments, proposing mitigation strategies
* Conduct regular schedule performance reviews and taking corrective actions
* Identify scheduling challenges and optimize project execution.
* Translate complex data into clear reports for stakeholders.
* Facilitate team communication and collaboration.
* Manage assigned project planning tasks effectively, ensuring adherence to deadlines and established project management methodologies.
* Maintain a high level of accuracy and reliability in project schedules
* Train and mentor team members on project scheduling tools and best practices
* Stay up-to-date on evolving project management methodologies
* Participate in project kick-off meetings and planning sessions to define project scope and develop initial project schedules.
* Prepare presentations and reports summarising project schedules, progress, and potential risks for key stakeholders.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:
* Experience in project planning or scheduling, preferably in the nuclear industry.
* Expertise in project scheduling techniques, project management software, and risk management principles.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
* Understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK) and their application in the nuclear industry.
* Knowledge of project scheduling techniques (e.g., Critical Path Method) and software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
* Understanding of nuclear industry regulations (e.g., 10 CFR 50 Appendix B).
* Familiarity with risk management principles in project planning.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
