Field Service Engineer Location: Home based; West Yorkshire The company is a global equipment manufacturer for food & beverage, medical & pharmaceutical, materials handling and other industry applications. Responsibilities: To visit customer sites in order to maintain equipment and systems plus all associated plant, to complete this in a secure and safe working order to the satisfaction of the customer To provide scheduled and emergency maintenance cover and fault finding To survey, promote service contracts as well as submitting schedules of equipment for contract extensions or for formulation of contract quotations To survey, cost and quote minor installations and alterations to existing systems To undertake minor installation and commissioning activity where necessary Responsible for fault finding, stripping down and the repair of all manufacturer’s equipment and associated plant Liaise with customers on their requirements promoting the company, products and application solutions Experience/Skills: Previous experience in a field service, maintenance or commissioning role Formal Engineering qualifications Excellent customer service & Communication skills Good time management skills Ability to read mechanical / electrical drawings Strong and accurate reporting Health & Safety awareness
