About the Finance Manager Role We are looking for a highly organised, detail-oriented, and collaborative Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a key role within Equal Education Partners, responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organisation and ensuring robust financial management and reporting. Responsibilities Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Financial Reporting: Preparing monthly management accounts, divisional reporting, and quarterly VAT returns. Payroll Management : Managing payroll (weekly and monthly)l for internal staff and external supply staff, tutors, and mentors. Bookkeeping : Overseeing accounts on Xero, reconciling financial records, and managing creditors and debtors. Budgeting & Forecasting: Developing annual and quarterly budgets and forecasts for all divisions. T eam Collaboration: Supporting and coaching team members to improve financial processes and reporting. Compliance : Ensuring timely submissions of payroll, VAT, and other statutory obligations. Requirements The ideal candidate will bring: Proven experience in financial management, payroll, and bookkeeping. Strong knowledge of accounting systems (e.g., Xero) and Excel.
