Amazon Canada is looking for a Senior Product Manager to manage and grow our Private Brands business.
The ideal candidate has experience with advanced analytical capabilities, strong communication and project management, and the ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment. The candidate is an independent self-starter who thrives in connecting people and ideas, has a strong entrepreneurial drive and is comfortable with playing a lead role in a highly visible organization. The Senior Product Manager stays on top of industry trends, and is able to execute at both a strategic and tactical level to drive sales and margin growth, while ensuring a best-in-class customer experience.
Key job responsibilities:
1. Define and drive business strategies and objectives including new initiatives to help scale the business and improve topline and profitability
2. Dive into consumer insights, competitive landscape, and complete need/gap analysis
3. Drive both inputs and outputs, including key metrics and the full P&L
4. Communicate effectively with various partner teams and stakeholders as well as senior leadership
5. Work with cross functional teams and international Amazon counterparts to improve Amazon Canada’s Private Brands’ product selection, discoverability, profitability and availability
6. Drive the Product Management Lifecycle, develop tools or features to improve CX
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
2. Bachelors degree or equivalent
3. Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
4. Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
5. Experience with end to end product delivery
6. Strong verbal and written communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Experience in using statistical analysis to identify issues or opportunities for improvement
2. Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
3. Experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology
4. Masters degree or equivalent
5. Demonstrated excellent business judgment in delivering results for complex and ambiguous problems
