This specialist school, local to you, supports children and young adults from the age of 5 years with complex and severe special educational needs. It is both a primary and secondary provision. This school supports SEN learners with an Autism diagnosis. The school community is incredibly special, appreciating differences and celebrating individual strengths. The school is seeking a SEN teacher to deliver teaching and learning across multiple subjects to children and young people with specialist needs who may present with challenging behaviours associated with their diagnosis. You will lead a small class (3-7 learners), designing, planning, and delivering teaching sessions to encourage pupils' learning and progression as well as improve their social and emotional development. Some pupils may have multiple learning difficulties. This role is needed on a full-time, permanent basis (40 hours a week), term time only.

Minimum Requirements:
1. Teaching Qualification (QTS or QTLS)
2. Relevant SEN teaching experience (Must be able to provide 2 teaching references)
3. Relevant knowledge of the current national curriculum
4. Eligibility to work in the UK
Responsibilities:
1. Delivering engaging and interactive lessons
2. Communicating with parents and carers over pupils' progress and participating in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and whole school training events
