We are seeking a passionate Risk and Business Continuity Planning Manager to join our Group Risk team. In this role, you'll focus on driving long-term sustainable growth by integrating risk management and business continuity planning into decision-making processes. Working closely with various business units, you'll ensure that appropriate risk management strategies are in place to protect Kingfisher.
What's the job?
1. Ensure that robust business continuity plans (BCP) are in place across the Group. Assist teams in completing their BCP, collaborating across teams to ensure plans align and challenge where plans are insufficient.
2. Coordinate risk management activities across the organisation ensuring that all areas of the Group follow the risk management framework. Review and challenge teams on their risk identification and mitigation procedures, ensuring they align with the business' risk appetite.
3. Facilitate workshops for both BCP and risk topics with senior partners.
4. Draft committee papers and other reports to senior risk governance groups.
5. Partner with the business to strengthen risk awareness and culture, complete risk deep dives in significant and strategically important areas and advise on risk mitigation improvements.
What you'll bring
1. Professional certification in risk management, accountancy or internal audit (IRM, ACA, CIA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
2. Experience of implementing business continuity plans across large corporate organisations.
3. Ability to project lead and work autonomously.
4. Experience of working in an enterprise risk management function, with a strong understanding of risk processes, mitigating controls and risk frameworks (either ISO31000 or COSO).
5. Working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint, including their reporting capabilities.
