Summary
An amazing opportunity has arisen to work for one of the top dressage studs in the world. Mount St John (MSJ) is based in North Yorkshire and houses 100+ horses from newborn foals to competition horses. In this role you would be looking after the ridden horses in our modern competition barn with top class facilities.

£15,704 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you’ll do at work
All general yard duties to include:
* Mucking out/ sweeping.
* Filling haynets/ water buckets.
* Feeding.
* Paddock clearing.
* Turning horses in and out and hand grazing.
* Grooming, trimming, clipping and show prep.
* Tacking up and untacking.
* Possibility of travelling to shows and learning how to be a competition groom.
* This is a non ridden position.

There is the possibility of accommodation with this role for over 18's. There is no livery for own horse. If applying locally it is not accessible by public transport so please make sure you can get yourself to and from the location daily .
