LDD Ltd, an Acteon company, is a marine and subsea foundation specialist. Using our extensive in-field know-how, we design, engineer, build and operate world class pile-installation and drilling equipment to deliver tubular foundations of any size, in any geology, anywhere. LDD are currently looking to add a Contract Manager to their Legal and Contract Department team on a full-time permanent basis based in our office the UK, Netherlands or Germany. Working as part of the Legal and Contract Department you will ensure that LDD contractual and commercial interests are supported at all times across our range of international projects. This role requires a comprehensive knowledge and practical experience of contracts and contracting. You must have the capability to review contractual documents and, through understanding the LDD business and the constraints within which it operates, identify risk, propose and negotiate appropriate mitigations for LDD with the client and assist with management of any residual risk during the operational delivery of the project. An understanding of marine / civil construction contracts and commercial management, including monthly measure, cashflow and forecasting, along with a basic knowledge of offshore construction is considered an advantage. Duties/Responsibilities Pre and post project award contract review, drafting, negotiation and administration, supporting the Sales and Operations teams. Thorough knowledge of live contract terms and conditions, clients, client relationships, cashflow and suppliers. Develop close working relationship and integrate with LDD Sales and Operations departments. Provide general commercial and contractual advice as appropriate in day to day relationships with other LDD personnel. Ensure compliance with LDD and our parent company, Acteon, commercial and financial requirements. Identify potential commercial and contractual problems and report / support Head of Legal / Commercial Manager in their resolution as required. Requirements Previous experience in a QS / commercial / contracts / legal role. Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately. Analytical, with a high attention to detail. Extensive working knowledge of contract and legal principles. Ability to work both on own and as part of a team. Ability to prioritise work load. Ability to be able to spot a "good deal
