The post involves working closely within the wider Multi-disciplinary Team, consisting of nurses, medics, health and exercise practitioners, health care assistance, and psychology staff. A commitment to team working is essential.
The post holder should be able to demonstrate effective clinical reasoning skills, apply theory to practice, and communicate effectively with patients, their carers, and colleagues alike.
In return, the successful candidate will be supported to utilise evidence-based practice, have the opportunity to contribute to developing innovative services in a ward-based environment. The successful candidate will also receive regular supervision and will be encouraged to utilise reflective practice.
You will be expected to have a working knowledge of the Model of Human Occupation (MOHO) and complete assessments, care plans, and deliver a range of interventions within the hospital setting and local community.
