The role of a medical administrator at Phoenix Family Practice will involve: -Reading and comprehending incoming medical correspondence (all forms of letters about a patient's health or care). -Accurately summarising the correspondence using free text and a database of medical terms (SNOMED CT) and committing this to the patient's medical record. -Briefly assessing the correspondence against the patient's medical record, using EMIS Web and Docman 10 -Safely identifying non-actionable correspondence and appropriately forwarding on all other documents to our medical team.
