Responsibilities The Primary purpose of the role is to support your account managers within your territory with the training and education needs in your accounts. You will be expected to organise and manage your own workload, whilst ensuring it meets the needs of the business plan. The territory will encompass London, Brighton and Hampshire. With the majority of the Key accounts based within the M25. This role promotes and maintains a professional interface between the Company and the customers, and will need to develop these relationships. To will be a specialist in our product line using your skills, knowledge and experience to support customers and the UK&I team. You will expected to assist with clinical trails as well as provide in theatre products support post sale. It is expected that the output from your interactions will result in maintaining and growing the business and as such is associated with a territory sales target. You will be responsible for managing the capital equipment in your territory, ensuring it is covered by service contract and doing audits where required Supervision received Under direct supervision of Clinical Specialist Team Lead. This role will work closely with the two overlapping Account Managers Tasks In order to achieve the annual targets, the clinical specialist will implement: Establish and maintain product knowledge on assigned product ranges Develop and maintain good clinical knowledge of procedures & clinical papers where our products are used Demonstrate good knowledge of competitors, their products and services, their strategies: collaborate with marketing to update competitor insights/database. Establish and maintain current customers and potential customers relationships through visits and presence in your accounts, training and educational workshops/ sessions, demonstrations and congresses Provide regular feedback to Account Manager and senior managers relating to account performance, implemented action plans, objectives Take first line of responsibility on territory for providing support to customers through technical and educational presentations and hands-on training and Theatres, ward base and Critical Care support Identify and solve customers’ concerns: report complaints to quality Comply with company procedures and guidelines and code of conduct Key Performance Indicators: Achievement of quarterly sales targets Capital install-base management & service revenue In-servicing frequency and number of Clinical Evaluations supported % new business growth vs. existing Product knowledge development Qualifications Relevant degree or equivalent healthcare practitioner or industry experience. At least four years working experience similar role or inside Hospitals Strong presentation and demonstration skills. Ability to manage multiple HCP (speciality) relationships spanning nursing, surgeon, intensivists, other OR staff. Nursing/healthcare or technical background combined with sales experience /success built on strong product knowledge and high levels of user customer facing interaction Ability to work well as part of a high performing team
