Job Advert: Afternoon Warehouse Shift Controller Warehouse Shift Operations Leader
Location: Barton-under-Needwood
Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM (start time can be discussed with some flexibility)
About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and dedicated Afternoon Shift Controller to join our team. In this role, you will lead the evening operations, ensuring compliance, safety, and operational excellence while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct daily in-depth safety walks across the site, identifying and addressing any non-compliance issues.
* Oversee visual management to ensure adherence to work instructions and operational standards.
* Perform audits of work instructions and review risk assessments for compliance.
* Lead or cover incident management to ensure timely and effective resolution.
* Ensure compliance with waste management protocols and sustainability goals.
* Deliver clear and consistent communication to the team, ensuring alignment on goals and expectations.
* Act as a change agent, driving continuous improvement initiatives across operations.
