WorkwithYorkshire are working with a local law client, who have a fantastic opportunity for a Conveyancing Assistant, to join their team based in Sherburn in Elmet.
This is a full time, permanent role based in the office, parking is available.
You will play a crucial role in supporting the conveyancers and ensuring the seamless progression of property transactions from initiation to completion.
Duties:
Assisting conveyancers with the preparation and management of legal documents, related to property transactions.
Conducting thorough title searches and property investigations.
Communicating with clients, real estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties involved in the conveyancing process.
Drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
Coordinating and scheduling property settlements and completions.
Maintaining accurate and organised case files and records.
Handling administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and managing correspondence
Responding to client enquiries and providing updates on the progress of their transactions.
Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Key skills and experience;
Experience in a legal assistant or conveyancing role.
Strong knowledge of property law and the conveyancing process.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
Proficiency in legal research and document preparation.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and conveyancing software.
