About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Export Coordinator to join our friendly customer services team at Macphie and you will be based at our site in Glenbervie reporting into our Customer Services Manager. The main focus of the role is to provide an effective first point of contact with our International and UK customers to ensure their needs are communicated to all internal and external stakeholders and fulfilled in full whilst considering the business’s KPI’s and requirements.
This will be a dynamic role which will also flex across our operations, giving the unique opportunity to have a full view of our total supply chain. We are looking for someone who can offer flexibility with start and finish times when required to support international customers.

Responsibilities
* Prepare and review all export documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
* Coordinate logistics and manage shipments from warehouse to international destinations.
* Collaborate with customs authorities, shipping lines, and freight forwarders to facilitate the timely and efficient movement of goods.
* To provide an effective first point of contact with customers, dealing with any queries or complaints in a professional and timely manner and in accordance with Macphie processes and values.
* Take responsibility for orders, ensuring details are entered accurately and in a timely manner. This includes resolving any associated issues professionally and efficiently, to minimise any disruption to customers and the business.
* Actively develop effective working relationships with all key stakeholders across the commercial chain, in particular customers and the Macphie supply chain.
* Using an understanding of our capabilities and our customers’ requirements; resolve any logistical and stock control issues in an effective and timely manner.
* Liaise with planning on production plans, forecast demand and capacity.
* In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the job holder is required to perform other duties assigned by the Customer Service Manager.
* At all times ensure that Health and Safety requirements are met in your area of responsibility in accordance with Company Health and Safety policy, procedures, practices and legislation.
* The co-ordinator will also take ownership of any Customer Support initiatives as detailed by the Customer Services Manager and work with relevant stakeholders to effectively manage Non-Conforming Stock to maximise profitability for the company.
Requirements
* Proven experience in export coordination or logistics management, preferably in the food or manufacturing sector.
* Strong knowledge of international shipping processes and customs regulations.
* Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Proficiency in using logistics and export documentation software.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
* Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
